Estimation and Control of Mercury Emission from Coal-Fired Power Plants
Centred on the estimation of mercury emission from coal-fired power plants of one energy group in China, a model for estimating mercury emission from coal-fired power plants of the energy group in China has been established. According to classified kinds and practical results of mercury emission test, the emission-affecting coefficient TFi of partial coal-fired boilers in typical power plants has been primarily determined. All the coal-fired power plants in the group can satisfy the state environmental protection requirements in 2011. According to the mercury emission status, the improvement of mercury absorbents and efficient utilization of the existing air pollution control devices are so far considerd to be practically effective for mercury emission control in coal-fired power plants at present.
