Transition Mode from Overhead Transmission Line to Cable of Different Voltage Levels
The transition mode from overhead transmission line to cable can be divided into transition on ground and transition on tower. In the paper, the different transition mode of different voltage levels was introduced. The cable terminal station was adopted in 220 kV electrical power line, the mode of cable climb tower or pole was employed in 110 kV line, and the mode of cable climb pole can be used in 35 kV and 10 kV line. After analysis, the transition mode discussed in the paper was concluded to be more competitive in both economy and technology.
