Rural Industry Revitalization in China:Spatiotemporal Differentiation,Dynamic Evolution and Common Prosperity Effect
The revitalization of rural industries is an important part of unblocking the urban-rural economic cycle and building a new development pattern.Based on the theoretical analysis and the provincial panel data system from 2000 to 2020,this paper describes the spatial-temporal differentiation characteristics and dynamic evolution trend of rural industry revitalization, and tests the common wealth effect and realization path of rural industry revitalization. The findings are as follows:first, although the revitalization of rural industries in China is on the rise, the overall level is still at a low level. It has the characteristics of East>Northeast>middle>West. The integra-tion of urban and rural areas and green innovation are the weak points in the revitalization of rural industries.Second, although the overall regional differences are not very serious, they continue to expand. The overall difference is mainly due to the regional difference, but the regional difference is gradually converging and the over variable density contribution rate is rising.Third, during the investigation period, rural industry revitalization and the horizontal polarization of its subsystems are alleviated, but shows a significant spatial distribution pattern of"high high"and"low low"clusters.Fourth,The revitalization of rural industries has a significant common prosperity effect,This co enrichment effect is sustainable and plays a role through both direct and indirect effects. The indirect effect is stronger than the direct effect. The above conclusions comprehensive-ly,objectively and truly reflect the current situation and evolution trend of rural industrial revital-ization level, clarify the advantages and disadvantages of each region, reveal the realization path of rural industry revitalization and promoting common prosperity, and provide policy enlightenment for reassessing the effectiveness of industrial policy in the new stage, continuously and effectively promoting rural revitalization and realizing common prosperity.
