The Impact of Industrial Organization Mode on the Agricultural Product Quality Certification Behaviors of Large-scale Farmers:An Empirical Analysis based on the Data of China's Third Agricultural Census
In the process of agricultural organization and scale management,promoting larges-cale farmers to participate in the quality certification of agricultural products will help increase the supply of high-quality agricultural products and implement the national food safety strategy.Based on the data of 3175 large-scale farmers in China's third agricultural census,the Probit model,the mediation effect model and the KHB method are used to analyze the impact of industrial organiza-tion mode on the quality certification behavior of large-scale farmers.The results show that,com-pared with the market transaction mode,the horizontal cooperation mode and the vertical coopera-tion mode have a significant positive effect on the quality certification behavior of large-scale farmers,which increases the probability of large-scale farmers participating in quality certification by 7.1％and 8.8％,respectively.The effects of close industrial organization mode such as hori-zontal cooperation and vertical cooperation are different in the quality certification of different types.The promotion effect from strong to weak is pollution-free agricultural products certification,green food certification,organic food certification,but the horizontal cooperation mode has no sig-nificant impact on organic food certification.The mechanism test shows that,the industrial organi-zation mode mainly affects the quality certification behavior of large-scale farmers through provi-ding technique training,promoting safe production and expanding sales channels,and the effect of safe production is the largest.The positive effects of horizontal cooperation mode and vertical coop-eration mode are more obvious for those large-scale farmers whose education level is less than jun-ior high school and whose land scale is less than 75 acres.To this end,it is necessary to further improve the degree of large-scale farmers'organization,strengthen the quality and safety effect of the industrial organization mode through improving contract governance and enhancing certification benefits,and support industrial organizations to provide differentiated services according to the sta-tus of their members.
