In order to understand the occurrence regularity of corn borer in Fushun area and grasp the relationship between its occurrence and climate factors,this paper investigated and studied the occurrence situation of corn borer in Fushun in recent years to determine the occurrence beginning period,peak period and end period of each generation and each insect state,and to find out the occurrence rule of corn borer in Fushun area,so as to provide the suggestions and references for the appropriate period and methods of control of corn borer in Fushun area.
