The planting industry of Chinese traditional medicinal materials is still dominated by traditional manual operation from sowing to harvesting,and the labor efficiency is low,which affects the long-term healthy and stable development of Chinese traditional medicine industry.This paper expounded the development of Chinese herbal medicine industry and the present situation of mechanization supporting,analyzed the problems existing in the mechanization development of Chinese medicinal materials and the supporting equipment required for the production,and discussed the comprehensive benefits of mechanization of Chinese medicinal materials.
