All provinces and cities in China are speeding up the process of digital village development.From the construction of big data platforms in agriculture and rural areas to the construction of digital villages,it is inseparable from the support of geographic information system.This paper analyzes the role of geographic information system in the development of digital countryside,so as to contribute to the construction of harmonious and beautiful countryside and the realization of all-round well-off society.
