In light of the aim for Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality,and the new requirements for high-quality energy development,China's major energy companies,as the guardians of the country's energy securi-ty and advocates of high-quality development,must hasten their shift towards a low-carbon energy structure and industrial transformation and upgrading.Using the CHN Energy as a case study,this study analyzes Chi-na's energy structure and medium-to-long-term development plans,highlighting the necessity and urgency for energy enterprises to develop nuclear power.The study also provides reference suggestions on the technical and economic feasibility,technological pathways,site planning,and comprehensive utilization of nuclear ener-gy for large-scale energy enterprises investing in and constructing nuclear power plants.
