When a mine is excavating a new working face or transitioning to a new working face according to the plan,it is necessary to evaluate the stability of the newly excavated working face.Through the roof geomechanical measurement and borehole observation study conducted on the return air roadway 100300 of a coal mining company in Shanxi Province, there is quantitative understanding of the geological environment where the roadway is located. This has guiding significance for the subsequent computer simulation and actu-al construction support.
