The modernization of science and technology is an inevitable requirement for the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Comprehensive evaluation of the development of agricultural science and technology modernization in Gansu Province is of fundamental significance for accurately judging the level of agricultural science and technology support in the province and promoting the high-quality development of agriculture.This paper analyzes the relevant data of agricultural science and technology development in 14 cities and prefectures of Gansu Province in 2022,constructs a more reasonable evaluation index system,uses the entropy weight TOPSIS combination evaluation method to rank the level of agricultural science and technology modernization in Gansu Province,and conducts cluster analysis based on the closeness degree,which is divided into three categories.The research shows that the level of agricultural science and technology modernization in various cities and prefectures of Gansu Province is generally not high,showing a trend of decreasing from the west to the middle and then to the south,which is basically consistent with the level of regional economic development.The lack of basic conditions of science and technology,the weak ability of R&D and innovation,and the poor transformation system of achievements are still the shortcomings that restrict the modernization level of agricultural science and technology in various cities and states.Based on this,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions to comprehensively improve the support ability of science and technology,the level of scientific research innovation and the efficiency of achievement transformation,and to promote the development of agricultural science and technology modernization in Gansu Province.
