Agricultural scientific research institute laboratories are important places to carry out scientific research work,and undertake the implementation of basic and critical scientific research tasks.The safe use and management of laboratories are directly related to the safety of researchers'lives and properties as well as the smooth progress of scientific research.The article analyzes the problems of agricultural scientific research institutes in laboratory safety facilities and management of hazardous chemicals,laboratory layout,personnel safety awareness,etc.,and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures to strengthen the safety management of laboratories in research institutes from the aspects of setting up a leading institution,establishing and implementing a safety regime,scientifically and rationally laying out the laboratory sites,increasing the investment in safety facilities and carrying out safety warning education activities on a regular basis to ensure that scientific experiments in scientific research institutes can be carried out smoothly.
