Agricultural science and technology services play a crucial role in enhancing the strength of agricultural innovation and promoting sustainable agricultural development.As the core force for solving regional agricultural science and technology problems,local agricultural research institutes play an important role in promoting science and technology services to the local area.Taking Institute of Plant Protection Hebei of Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences as an example,the article analyzed the problems highlighted by local agricultural research institutes in science and technology service from the aspects of low level of construction and management of science and technology service team,excessive constraints,insufficient transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements,and lack of assessment mechanism,and put forward countermeasures to strengthen the work of science and technology service from the aspects of strengthening the construction of science and technology service team,overcoming the unfavorable factors in science and technology service,promoting the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements,and perfecting the assessment mechanism.
