The dispatch of science and technology commissioners to rural areas is an important means to promote rural revitalization through science and technology,playing a crucial role in revitalizing the agricultural industry.This article analyzes the current development and operation model of science and technology commissioners in Guizhou Province.Based on the theory of embeddedness,it explores the paths by which science and technology commissioners assist in the development of rural industries,such as promoting rural industrial revitalization by embedding agricultural production technology,agricultural economic resources,agricultural social capital,and scientific and technological culture.However,during the embedding process,issues were identified in aspects such as the assessment mechanism,two-way selection mechanism,and funding investment.In response to these issues,countermeasures for the integration of science and technology commissioners into rural industrial development are proposed,including optimizing the assessment system,establishing diverse dispatch mechanisms,and actively expanding the funding sources for science and technology commissioners.
