Practice and Exploration of Building an Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Highland in Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley
Henan is a major agricultural province and plays an important role in ensuring national food security and stabilizing the effective supply of agricultural products.Since 2022,Henan Province has taken the Pingyuan Demonstration Zone in Xinxiang City as the core to plan and construct the Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley,striving to create a national agricultural science and technology innovation highland and promote the high-quality development of the province's agricultural industry.This article summarized the exploration and practice of building the Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley in Henan over the past three years,analyzed the successful experiences and practices of domestic and foreign agricultural science and technology innovation and industrial advantage areas,and concluded the construction and development ideas of government-driven,scientific planning,focusing on regional advantages and characteristic industries,whole industry chain development,and integration of production,education,research,and application.In view of the problems existing in the current construction of the Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley,it put forward suggestions such as strengthening government guidance,building a collaborative and efficient innovation ecosystem,creating a modern agricultural industry cluster in the Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley,and creating an open and inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship environment to accelerate the transformation of the Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley into an agricultural science and technology innovation highland,so as to promote the rapid growth and maturity of the Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley.
