Practice and Thoughts of the Work of Increasing Revenue and Reducing Expenditures in Agricultural Research Institutions in the New Era,Taking Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences as an Example
The work of increasing revenue and reducing expenditures is the foundation and guarantee for agricultural research institutions to promote agricultural technological innovation,enhance the efficient utilization of resources,and strengthen sustainable development capabilities.Taking Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences as an example,this article analyzed the main practices,achievements,and existing problems of the institute's efforts in increasing revenue and reducing expenditures in the rice research institute.It proposed to establish and improve a long-term mechanism for increasing revenue and reducing expenditure,took multiple measures to increase revenue and reduce expenditure as the starting point,adhere to the principle of"one game of chess"for the whole institute and linkage of various departments,broaden the channels of funding sources,practice economy,streamline meetings,optimize expenditure structure,strengthen expenditure management,and improve the efficiency of fund use,so as to promote the orderly development,high-quality and sustainable development of the institute's various works.
