Current Status and Prospects of Registered Pesticide for Ant and Termite Management in China
Some ant and termite species pose significant global threats,impacting human life in various.Consequently,their prevention and management,especially through chemical control,has always drawn most attentions.This article compiled a list of registered pesticides for ant and termite management in China.It summarized and analyzed basic data on control agents for ant,red imported fire ant,and termites to elucidate the current status.Moreover,it offers some conclusions and suggestions,including the need to strengthen supervision of pesticide registration and market,develop research on active ingredients and formulations,classify application scenarios and monitor pesticides resistance.This work aims to play a positive role in guiding the rational pesticides application,promoting the upgrading of pesticide products,and encouraging the development of new and novel pesticides.
