Flubendiamide and its Mixed Preparations Against Spodoptera Frugiperda in Field
In order to assess the control effect, optimal application rate and safety to corn of flubendiamide-based products containing a single-active ingredient and mixed formulation products containing active ingredient beyond flubendiamide, field tests were conducted selecting three treatments of 20%flubendiamide SC at rates of 300 mL/hm2,225 mL/hm2 and 150 mL/hm2 three dosage,12%flubendiamide·emamectin benzoate ME at rates of 375 mL/hm2,300 mL/hm2 and 225 mL/hm2 three dosage treatments, and 5%emamectin benzoate WG at a rate of 300 g/hm2.The results showed that all the three pesticides had varying degrees of control effects against Spodoptera frugiperda at different doses. The best control effect was observed with 12%flubendiamide·emamectin benzoate ME,particularly at dose of 375 mL/hm2 and 300 mL/hm2,demonstrating both rapid action and persistence. The second most effective was 20%flubendiamide SC,with best control effect at a dose of 300 mL/hm2,displaying quicker action and better persistence.Although 5%emamectin benzoate WG had rapid action against Spodoptera frugiperda, its persistence was not ideal.
