This paper introduced the history of herbicides usesin Ningxia paddy field,along with the action mechanism and target weeds of commonly used herbicides.It briefly described the residual characteristics of these herbicides.No herbicide residues were detected in Ningxia rice.According to the requirements of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin,it is essential to use herbicides scientifically and rationally to reduce their impact on agricultural environment.
