Establishing the Pesticide Residue Standard System in China:A Leap From Zero to Ten Thousands and Future Prospects
Pesticide residue limits and detection methods are critical elements of national food safety standards.This paper presents a systematic review and analysis of the historical evolution and significant achievements in the construction of China's pesticide residue standards system,It highlights the increase in the number of standards from zero to myriad,the simplification of detecting methods,the establishment of technical specifications,and the leap process from the domestic to international standards,demonstrating the unique development path of the pesticide residue standards system in China.Additionally,the paper elaborated on the scientific basis and technical elements that underpin the development of the system.It proposes future development concepts and directions for constructing the system,aiming to provide scientific references for safeguarding food safety in China,upgrading the green transformation of agriculture,and promoting alignment with the international standards.
