Determination of the Content of 42%Metam-sodium SL by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometry
A quantitative analytical method for 42% Metam-sodium SL was developed using nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry(1H qNMR).With 1,3,5-Trimethoxybenzene as the internal standard and DMSO-d6 as the solvent, the proton signal peak at δ 2.80 of Metam-sodium and the peak at δ 6.09 of 1,3,5-Trimethoxybenzene were served as quantitative and internal standard peaks, respectively,to calculate the content of 42% Metam-sodium.The RSD of the repeatability test was 0.05%,and the RSD of the stability test was 0.02% .The average recovery rate was 100.69%,with an RSD of 1.39% .This method was validated against chemical titration method, and the results were generally consistent. The method is fast, simple, and highly accurate for analyzing the content of Metam-sodium.
