Evaluation of the Efficacy of Three New Biopesticides in Field Trials for Chili Pepper Blight Control
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of biological pesticides in the field trial for the prevention and control of pepper disease, eight experimental treatments were designed to investigate the green prevention and control practices and technologies of pepper blight. The results showed that under field conditions, all three products had a certain degree of preventive effect.Twenty-one days after the second application,Timorex Glod achieved the lowest disease index of 0.45,with a highest control effect of 87.7% .Bacillus subtilis had the second highest efficacy, with a lowest disease index of 0.67 and a highest efficacy of 82.7% .The higher yield was achieved by the group treated by Timorex Glod and VDAL in Colletotrichum dahliae,at 5 127.50 kg/hm2 and 4 988.00 kg/hm2,respectively,reflecting increases of 18.11% and 15.82% compared to the control group, with significant differences. In conclusion, the dosage of 1 350 g/hm2 Timorex Glod demonstrated the best control effect against pepper blight, followed by Bacillus subtilis.
