ANALYSIS OF STRATEGY TO SUPPORT RURAL REVITALIZATION BY THE PREFECTURE-LEVEL AGRICULTURAL ACADEMY——A CASE STUDY OF BAOJI AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE RESEARCH INSTITUTE IN SHANXI PROVINCE
During the reform of agricultural science and technology system,as an integral component of agricultural science and technology extension system,prefecture-level agricultural academies play a crucial role in the rejuvenation of rural crop varieties,pure public welfare dissemination of agricultural research achievements,and provision of scientific and technological services.This article provided a concise overview of the significant contributions made by prefecture-level Academies of Agricultural Sciences to national agricultural development and construction,while also addressed the challenges they faced in the new era's context of rural revitalization such as limited scientific research diversity,inadequate talent training mechanisms,and operational inefficiencies.Through analysis,it is emphasized that prefecture-level academy of Agricultural Sciences should continue to serve as regional experimental demonstration centers,drive industrial revitalization through science and technology adoption;fulfill the function of agricultural knowledge dissemination and technical training;strengthen the theoretical learning and education of the Party,address deficiencies;enhance project management capabilities;facilitate agricultural modernization;foster comprehensive agricultural economic development;work together with scientific and technological intelligence,assist in the modernization of agriculture,so as to promote the comprehensive revitalization of agriculture and rural areas in China.
