RESEARCH ON STRATEGY FOR ENHANCING SCIENTIFIC TECHNICAL AND CULTURAL QUALITY OF FAMERS——TAKING JIANGSU PROVINCE AS AN EXAMPLE
Farmers are the main body of rural revitalization and the core element for developing new agricultural productivity.Farmers'scientific,technical,and cultural quality is a key factor in ensuring the smooth implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,which is of great significance for the construction of modern agricultural industry system and socialist new rural construction.Cultivating and enhancing the scientific,technical,and cultural literacy of farmers is a necessity for the development of modern agriculture and an important way to increase their income.Taking Jiangsu province as an example,this article started with a survey of the scientific and technological cultural literacy of farmers in Jiangsu province,comprehensively understood the gap between the current situation of farmers'scientific and technological cultural literacy and the talent demand for local economic development,explored the education and training needs,training methods,and main constraints of farmers,and drew on successful experiences and practices of cultivating high-quality farmers at home and abroad.Then based on the actual situation of Jiangsu province,and taking the practical needs of rural revitalization as the guide,it proposed to comprehensively improve farmers'scientific,technical,and cultural literacy,activated the development vitality of rural revitalization talents,and promoted high-quality development of rural economy through diversified connections,such as"policy benefits for farmers,vocational education for farmers,science and education for farmers,and digital empowerment of farmers".
