THE CURRICULUM BUILDING AND EXPLORATION OF ENGLISH MEDIUM INSTRUCTION OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL ENGINEERING
Organic Chemistry is an important professional foundation course for pharmaceutical engineering.English Medium Instruc-tion means that English is directly applied to the teaching of Organic Chemistry,integrated in all aspects of the lectures,boards,lec-ture materials,discussions,question and answer sessions,and examinations.English medium instruction imposes both higher stand-ards on teachers and more stringent requirements on students'ability to integrate.The course combines the characteristics of medicinal chemistry and teaching requirements,through enhancing students'interest in learning and the teacher's teaching skills to achieve the learning objectives,and establishes an English medium instruction paradigm with great characteristics of the《Organic Chemistry》course,in order to achieve the students to strengthen the professional foundation and broaden their international perspective.This paper explores and presents constructive ideas and suggestions for stimulating students'interest and improving teachers'efficacy in the teach-ing practice of English medium instruction in organic chemistry.
