EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF FIXED ASSETS INVESTMENT ON RESIDENTS'CONSUMPTION CAPACITY IN ANHUI
Consumption is an important engine of China's economic growth.Based on the panel data of cities in Anhui province from 2012 to 2021,this paper constructs a spatial weight matrix, builds a spatial econometric model on the basis of a series of test results, and analyzes the impact of fixed assets investment on residents'consumption capacity. The results indicate that residents'consumption capacity exhibits a stable spatial agglomeration phenomenon, the increase of fixed assets investment in the primary and tertiary indus-tries will have a significant positive impact on the consumption capacity of local residents, the improvement of urbanization level and re-gional production level will significantly enhance residents'consumption capacity, the construction of transportation networks will have significantly impacts on the local area and neighboring areas.Based on this, suggestions are proposed to strengthen the industrial carry-ing capacity of non central cities, optimize the direction of fixed assets investment, vigorously promoting the process of urbanization,in-crease investment in highway transport infrastructure.
