EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE BEARING CAPACITY OF GLASS BRIDGE DECK UNDER CONCENTRATED LOAD
The pedestrian landscape glass bridge deck is highly acclaimed by world-renowned scenic spots due to its strong impact brought by its transparent light.In order to explore the application of glass panel technology to the mechanical properties of ordinary ve-hicle road panels,experimental research on the bearing capacity of glass panels under concentrated load was conducted.The failure state,pressure displacement curve,and safety characteristics of glass panels under concentrated load were explored under boundary conditions,action positions,and glass layers.The test results show that under the same conditions,the position of the ultimate bearing capacity of the three layer laminated glass and the single layer glass of the same type changes in the order of plate edge,plate edge and plate angle from large to small;Under concentrated load,the ultimate bearing capacity of three-layer laminated glass simply supported on both sides is about 71.8%of that on four sides,and the ultimate bearing capacity of single-layer glass simply supported on both sides is about 51.4%of that on four sides;Applying different multiples of wheel loads at the corners and center of the plate for loading tests meets the requirements of the specifications,and the test results can provide reference for engineering practice.
