THE LEGAL PATH TO BRIDGING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ACTIVE AGING
The digital divide is a new problem that has emerged as human society enters the digital age.Elderly people often lack the ability to cope with the development of the times. In addition, there is a deviation in understanding the protection of their vulnerable status in relevant laws, which has increased the difficulty of integrating the elderly into the digital society. However, the discussion on this issue at the legal level is still lacking. Therefore, the problem should be addressed from a legislative perspective,by granting digit-al preferential rights to the elderly to ensure that development achievements benefit all people, and supplemented by dual regulation of mandatory obligations on developers and digital platforms,in order to promote the bridging of the digital divide and create a good digital living atmosphere in the whole society.
