THE INFLUENCE OF SENSE OF CONTROL ON COLLEGE STUDENTS'SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING:THE MEDIATING ROLE OF SENSE OF MEANING IN LIFE
Improving subjective well-being is an important part of college students'mental health education, and is also an important embodiment of realizing people's all-round development.Based on the survey data of 633 college students in a university, this paper uses the sense of life meaning scale, sense of control scale and subjective well-being scale to explore the impact of sense of control on college students'subjective well-being and the mediating role of sense of life meaning between them. The results showed that:(1)the sense of control, subjective well-being and sense of meaning of life are significantly positively correlated;(2)the sense of meaning of life partially mediates the sense of control and subjective well-being;(3)the sense of control can not only directly predict the level of subjective well-being,but also indirectly affect subjective well-being through the mediating role of sense of life meaning.
