Water Consumption and Water Use Efficiency of Rice of Sanjiang Plain under Control Irrigation
Field experiment with three irrigation treatments, i.e. , control irrigation Ⅰ, control irrigation Ⅱ and continuous flooding irrigation were installed to study the irrigation water, water requirement, yield and water use efficiency (WUE) of rice of Sanjiang Plain under different irrigation treatment The results showed that the total irrigation water was 344. 1, 319. 4 and 467. 4mm for control irrigation Ⅰ, control irrigation Ⅱ and continuous flooding irrigation. The total irrigation water of control irrigation Ⅰ and control irrigation Ⅱ were lower than that of continuous flooding irrigation by 26. 4% and 31.7%. In field experiment, the total water consumption was 538. 5,500. 5 and 627. 8mm for control irrigation Ⅰ, control irrigation Ⅱ and continuous flooding irrigation, respectively during the entire growing season. The total water consumption of control irrigation Ⅰ and control irrigation Ⅱ were lower than that of continuous flooding irrigation by 14. 2% and 20. 3%. The yield of control irrigation Ⅰ, control irrigation Ⅱ and continuous flooding irrigation was respectively 10200,10500 and 9320kg·hm-2. The yield of control irrigation Ⅰ and control irrigation Ⅱ were 9. 4% and 12. 7% higher than that of continuous flooding irrigation. The WUE of control irrigation Ⅰ, control irrigation Ⅱ and continuous flooding irrigation was respectively1. 89, 2. 10and 1.49kg·m-3. The WUE of control irrigation Ⅰ and control irrigation Ⅱ were higher than that of continuous flooding irrigation by 26. 9% and 40.9%. The results showed that control Irrigation was a comparatively water-saving and yield-increasing irrigation treatment Water conservation and yield increase of control irrigation Ⅱ were better than those of control irrigation Ⅰ.
