Dynamics of Ecological Safety Based on Ecological Tension Index —A Case Study of Shanghai City
Based on the principle of ecological footprint, this paper calculates the renewable resources ecological footprint and ecological capacity in Shanghai from 1985 to 2008. And the ecological tension index and rank partition standard are used to measure ecological safety of Shanghai. The result shows that the nature and ecological aren' t very safety during 24 years, but the ecological tension index is descending clearly. The government must go step further to carry out measures to reduce the ecological tension.
