Influence of ventilation mode on the dispersion of indoor particles
The comparative analysis of velocity, temperature, and pollutant concentration distribution under displacement ventilation(DV)and underfloor air distribution(UFAD)systems were performed using Eulerian-Lagrangian method.Meanwhile, effect of velocity(0.3 and 0.5 m·s-1)and temperatur(20,22℃)of air supply on the indoor airflow and particle dispersion in summer were studied in the simulation. Results show that when larger air supply speed increases the particle removal capability of both systems, while the effect on the performance of DV system is more significant than that of UFAD system.Furthermore,at the same operation conditions, the particle concertation at the respiratory height is lower under the DV system than that under the UFAD system. However, the particle concentration dose not changed significantly under the two ventilation systems when the supply air temperature changes.
