Effects of External Distur-bance on Soil Protozoa Abundance
In order to study the effect of external disturbance on abundance of flagellate, ciliate and amoeba in the soil, the study took the soil of QingYuan BaiShanZu Nature Reserve as samples, and set up three different external dis-turbance degree including respectively without disturbed area (W), without-ex-ternal disturbed area (W-Y), external disturbed area (Y). Every area got four specimens. The results were as follows:the protozoan total abundance in W-Y area reached the maximum (21368.8 a/g soil), that in Y area was the middle (18733.0 a/g soil), and that in W area was the minimum (15418.0a/g soil). Ap-propriate external disturbance was bene-ficial to increase protozoa total abun-dance and the abundance of flagellate, ciliates and amoeba, respectively. The increased amount of ciliate was the biggest, and the smallest was flagellate. With the improvement of protozoa total abundance, protozoan community struc-ture was also changed.
