Review of Occurrence and Control Methods of Monochamusalternatus
The biological characteris-tics of Monochamus alternatus in the central and northern regions of Jiangxi were introduced. The integrated control methods of M. alternatus were summa-rized,including artificial and physical control,biological control,chemical con-trol and forest management measures. And the application of Dastarcus longu-lus,Scleroderma guani and Beauveria bassiana in biological control of M. al-ternatus was mainly introduced. The in-tegrated control methods could effective-ly reduce the population density of M. alternatus and the spread of Bursaphe-lenchusxylophilus.
