Archive of Nanbu Country Yamen in Qing Dynasty is known as an extremely rich treasure trove of local literature.It has rich content,but still has a lot of colloquial words,which brings certain obstacles to read-ing and research.Based on documents handed down and combination with context,interpretation was obtained as follows:"Haofa(耗伐)"means"logging damage","Tanshou(弹收)"means"verification and storage","Xiangwen(向问)"means"quire,argue,accuse","Yadianqian(压佃钱)"means"money used as collateral during leasing,known as deposit commonly","Zhanshao boats(战哨船只)"means"warship and patrol boats for combat and security patrols respectively".
