Study on Adsorption of Cobalt Ions on Modified Concave Soil by Potassium Permanganate
Firstly, the absorbance of Cobalt ion solution at different concentrations was detected in the stud-y,and the standard curve with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 was obtained by the linear fitting.Subsequent-ly,the Attapulgite of GK-2H type was modified by the acidic Potassium Permanganate under different conditions, and the adsorption ability of the above samples on Cobalt ions was investigated. The test results showed that the adsorption ability of the modified Attapulgite on Cobalt ions was significantly better than that of the original At-tapulgite.When the pH value and the concentration of Potassium Permanganate solution were 2.44 and 0.06 mol/L,the adsorption rate was nearly up to 20.9%.Finally,the modified Attapulgite was detected by XRD,SEM,TEM,and IR.The results suggested that the modified Attapulgite by acidic Potassium Permanganate had good structure dispersion and a smoother surface with fewer impurities.
