Research on the Cyclical Changes and Influencing Factors of Economic Resilience of Tourism Industry in Shanxi Province
Tourism is a strategic pillar industry for the economic development in Shanxi Province and its high resilience development plays an important role in achieving the transformation and development of a resource-based economy in the province.This study took 11 prefectures and cities in Shanxi Province as research objects to explore the changes of economic resilience cycle of it from 2002 to 2020,detecting its influencing factors based on panel regression model.The results show that:Firstly,the overall economic development of tourism in-dustry in Shanxi Province presents three complete cycles and the fourth cycle that has not yet been completed.Secondly,the economic resilience of the tourism industry in Shanxi Province has gradually improved,and the gap between different cities has decreased and it is developing in a concentrated manner.Thirdly,the diversifi-cation of industrial structure,government support and scientific and technological innovation have a significantly positive impact on the economic resilience of tourism industry in Shanxi;the structure of tourists and tourism service facilities have a negative effect on the economic resilience of the tourism industry in Shanxi.
