Research on Input-Output Efficiency of China's Asian Games Host Cities Based on DEA Model
This study applied the Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)model to analyze the input and output data of the Asian Games host cities in China, evaluating the resource utilization efficiency of each host city for the Asian Games. The results showed that output did not reach its maximizing value, indicating the potential for im-provement.In the CCR model,Beijing had the lowest efficiency value. In the BBC model, the efficiency values of the three Asian Games host cities were all effective. In the SBM model, the efficiency value in Beijing was the low-est in the case of constant or variable returns to scale;the efficiency value in Guangzhou was the highest in the su-per-efficiency model. Finally, countermeasures are proposed for accelerating the development of sports industry in China in the future.
