The Archives of Government Houses in the South of the Qing Dynasty is a local handwritten docu-ment.There are many colloquial words in it,which is not conducive to the reading and research of the archives.The meaning of the four colloquial phrases"Chuan""pie""Tibi"and"Jingdou"is easily misread.According to the context,relevant literature and history,"Chuan"means"string","Pie"means"be deliberately dishonest;Cheat","Tibi"for"extract the prisoner to the case trial","Jingdou"for"Ming and Qing ministries issued standard warehouse Dendrobium,that is to the capital widely used bucket as a standard container measure-ment".
