Gao Fangyun was a female poet in Henan Province in the Qing Dynasty.She wrote a volume called Xing Duan Collection which contains 69 poems and 52 Xunzi words.Through the materials seen,this pa-per discusses Gao Fangyun's life and family history and the publication of Xing Duan Collection.The poems that admonish her son and the pure words that admonish his son not only reflect her educational methods but also show her personality.The poems and Xunzi words in Xing Duan Collection provide important materials for the study of Gao Fangyun's life and thought.
