Analysis of follow-up detection and influencing factors of living HIV/AIDS patients in Dali City,Yunnan Province in 2022
Objective To investigate the follow-up detection status and related influencing factors of living HIV/AIDS patients in Dali City,Yunnan Province,China. Methods Download the epidemic and follow-up intervention data of surviving HIV/AIDS patients with currently living in Dali City from China Disease Prevention and Control Information System, and conduct univariate and multivariate analysis of the follow-up test status of the patients and influencing factors through descriptive analysis,Chi-square test, logistic regression and other methods. Results By the end of 2022,there were 2,937 surviving HIV/AIDS patients in Dali City, and the follow-up test rate of the patients was 93.43%.The follow-up testing rate of patients who had received HIV antiviral treatment and were currently on treatment was higher than that of patients who had not been treated or lost to follow-up(x2=1955.558,P<0.001).Multivariate analysis showed that the reported disease stage being AIDS(OR=3.035,95%CI:2.151~4.283)and female gender(OR=1.837,95%CI:1.300~2.596)were the influencing factors to promote follow-up test. While transferring reports from other places(OR=0.639,95%CI:0.419~0.976),the reporting period is less than 3 years(OR=0.393,95%CI:0.233~0.666),reports from general hospitals(OR=0.555,95%CI:0.374~0.825),private and other hospital reports(OR=0.622,95%CI:0.390~0.992)were the factors that reduced the patients'acceptance of follow-up test. Conclusion The follow-up test rate of HIV/AIDS patients in Dali City is affected by several factors.Targeted prevention and control measures should be taken based on the main influencing factors, the competent departments should be encouraged to issue detailed assessment rules, strengthen the training of grassroots medical staff, and keep stable follow-up team, and actively search for patients who have been lost to follow-up and mobilize them for HIV antiviral therapy.
