Expression of Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen in Psoriasis and Atopic Dermatitis
Squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCCA),a member of the ovalbumin serine protease inhibitor family, was originally used as a tumor marker for squamous cell carcinomas. In recent years,it has been found that SCCA expression is elevated in inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and SCCA as a downstream molecule of IL-22/IL-17 and IL-4/IL-13,is involved in the occurrence and development of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. In this paper, the research on the relationship between SCCA and psoriasis and atopic dermatitis is summarized as follows.
