Study on quality of life and influnencing factors of HIV/AIDS patients aged 60 and over in Chuxiong Prefecture
Objective To investigate the quality of life and influencing factorsof HIV/AIDS patients aged 60 and above in Chuxiong Prefecture,Yunan Province by the end of 2021,so as to provide reference for improving the quality of life of HIV/AIDS patients in the future.Methods The random number table sampling method was used to sample the HIV/AIDS people aged 60 and above in 10 counties and cities of Chuxiong Prefecture.After obtaining the informed consent of the subjects,The MOS-HIV scale simplified Chinese version was used to quantitatively evaluate the physical health level and mental health level of the subjects.Results The median score of physical health and mental health in quality of life wer91.67(68.72,100.00)and(61.81±10.84)respectively.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that income(β=10.850,P<0.001)was positively correlated with physical health,age(β=-1.944,P<0.001)was negatively correlated with physical health,and age(β=-0.283,P<0.05)was negatively correlated with mental health.Conclusion By the end of 2021,the quality of life of HIV/AIDS aged 60 and over in Chuxiong Prefecture had improved compared with that in Yunnan Province in 2015,but it was still lower than that of other elderly people in the same age group,especially those with low income,low education,old age and unattended HIV/AIDS.Positive measures should be taken to address the decline in the quality of life of HIV/AIDS aged 60 and above.More psychological care should be given to women aged 60 and over with HIV/AIDS.
