Research progress on the protective effect of amphibian bioactive peptides on the skin
Skin is the largest organ of the human body, which has a variety of physiological functions and is very important to human health. However, the skin is often faced with external environmental pressure, which often leads to trauma, infection, inflammation and tumors.Amphibian bioactive peptides have emerged as promising candidates for skin injury treatment due to their diverse effects including antioxidation, promotion of wound healing,anti-infection,anti-inflammation,and anticancer properties.Consequently, they represent a valuable resource for novel drug development within dermatology. This review explores the protective capabilities of amphibian bioactive peptides on the skin and assesses their potential for future therapeutic applications, aiming to provide a basic reference for further research on amphibian bioactive peptides in the treatment of skin injuries.
