Design and Optimization of Leather Chrome-free Retanning Process Based on Uniform Design
To improve the ecological performance of leather retanning process, using zirconium-aluminum-titanium tanned wet-white as raw material, taking the obtained leather's thermal shrinkage temperature, tear strength, sensory performance and COD content in retanning effluent as evaluation indicators,a chrome-free retanning process based on modified glutaraldehyde,zirconium-aluminum-titanium complex tanning agent and cationic oil was designed and optimized. The results showed that when the amount of modified glutaraldehyde tanning agent was 2%,the amount of zirconium-aluminum-titanium complex tanning agent was 2%,and the amount of cationic oil was 0.4%,the retanning effect and ecological performance were good, and the retanned crust leather also had good heat resistance, sensory performance and physical properties. It provides a new method for the eco-design of ecological leather.
