This paper con ducted in-depth research and attempted on the application of tie dyeing technology to woolen fabrics,summarizing the characteristics of traditional tie dyeing methods such as tying,sewing,and clamping applied to woolen fabrics and their differences from cotton and linen fabrics.The advantages of tie dyeing technology applied to woolen fabrics were analyzed with emphasis,and they were designed and promoted to provide ideas for product development.In the process of tie dyeing,the effect of leaf dyeing was also emphasized.And the three-dimensional fabric characteristics created when tie dyeing technology is applied to woolen fabrics were proposed.
