The film and television industry has great demand for clothing,and it is one of the important markets of China's leather clothing industry in the future.Taking ancient film and television works as an example,this paper summarizes the application status and existing problems of leather materials in costume design of ancient film and television works.It believes that there are problems such as shodiness,theme deviation and lack of innovation in the application of leather materials in costume design of ancient film and television works,and analyzes the creative expression ideas of leather materials in costume design of ancient film and television works.It aims to help the leather industry to develop the film and television industry market.
