Effects of cyclic aeration underground drip irrigation on growth and quality of greenhouse tomatoes
In order to explore the effects of underground drip irrigation with cyclic aeration at different growth stages on the growth and quality of greenhouse tomatoes, different growth stages and the whole growth period were set up with cyclic aeration treatment, and non-aeration treatment at the whole growth period was taken as the control group to study the effects of cyclic aeration treatment at different growth stages on plant height, stem diameter, chlorophyll content, root activity and quality of green-house tomatoes. The results show that the cyclic aeration treatment during the flowering and fruiting stage is beneficial to the growth of greenhouse tomato plant height, and the cyclic aeration treatment during the fruit expansion stage is beneficial to the growth of greenhouse tomato stem thickness.Conti-nuous cyclic aeration at multiple growth stages has no obvious advantages over aeration at a single growth stage.Compared with the control treatment group, fruit aeration during fruit expansion period increases single fruit weight by 36.12%,fruit transverse and longitudinal diameters increase by 11.52%and 20.24%,respectively,and the soluble solid content increases by 29.25%.Also,the or-ganic acid content,sugar-acid ratio and vitamin C content as well increase by 20.41%,47.53%and 40.58%,respectively.Additionally,the soluble sugar content and the soluble protein content increase by 12.65%and 38.62%,respectively.Aeration treatment during the fruit expansion stage is beneficial to increasing the quality of greenhouse tomato,as well as optimizing their quality.Therefore,conside-ring the various indexes of fruit quality and crop growth, cyclic aeration treatment during the flowering and fruiting stage is more conducive to the growth of greenhouse tomato plant height, while aeration treatment at fruit expansion stage is more conducive to the improvement of stem diameter, single fruit weight and fruit quality of greenhouse tomato.
