Analysis of temperature rise mechanism of carbon fiber full-wrapped hydrogen storage cylinder during fast charging process
Carbon fiber fully-wrapped hydrogen storage cylinders have been widely used in China,with working pressure of the cylinders mainly includes 35 MPa and 70 MPa.At present,there is no reasona-ble charging and pressurization procedure for the hydrogen refueling station,which will inevitably lead to new defects in the filling process of the cylinders in the future.Based on the research status at home and abroad,the heating mechanism of the rapid filling process of gas cylinders was studied.The simu-lation calculation model was expanded through UDF,and the filling process was deeply analyzed.The temperature change law of vehicle hydrogen storage cylinders with different volumes,different storage pressures and different filling times during the rapid filling process at room temperature were explored.It provided a test basis for the optimization of the filling process by the hydrogen refueling station and the inspection and testing unit in the future.The research results indicate that the larger the cylinder volume,the lower the average temperature during the filling process,but the difference is not statisti-cally significant.The higher the storage pressure of the gas cylinder,the higher the average temperature during the filling process and even partially exceeds 85℃.The longer the cylinder filling time,the lower the average temperature during the filling process.The average pressure in the cylinders that are pressurized and filled by the linear pressure boosting method also increases linearly with the same law.
