Spatiotemporal Evolution Characteristics of Carbon Emission Intensity from urban Construction Land in the Past 20 Years
The expansion of urban construction land drives the increase of carbon emission,so revealing the regional differences of carbon emission intensity of urban construction land can provide a basis for promoting regional coordinated development and formulating scientific policies.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces and cities in China from 2000-2020,this paper explored the spatial and temporal pattern of urban construction land dynamics and carbon emissions in regions. The results show that the expansion intensity of urban construction land decreased significantly during the study period, especially in Beijing and Tianjin. The carbon emission intensity decreased from northwest to southeast.
