This article explores the pathways for water pollution prevention and control from the perspective of sustainable development.Firstly,it introduces the impacts of water pollution on the environment and human health.Secondly,it analyzes the current water pollution problems.Then,it proposes pathways for water pollution prevention and control,including reducing pollution sources,strengthening regulation and governance,promoting environmental education and awareness raising.Finally,it emphasizes the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation and global collaborative efforts.
